If you want to capture only a particular area of the screen on Mac, then you need to press Command+Shift+4 on your keyboard simultaneously. And your mouse pointer will convert into a +(Crosshair). - After taking a screenshot, it appears on the bottom right corner of the screen. Click on it to open it in the preview editor.

- The selected arrow will appear in the middle of the Screenshot. With the help of the three dots, you can increase the size and point it in the desired direction.
